Glenmore Highlands is the upper, mountainside stretch of Glenmore — the terrain along the ridge that separates the established valley floor from the newer growth areas further north. It's recognized enough as its own district that the City of Kelowna used the name in a 2003 Official Community Plan amendment (Bylaw 9054), and local REALTORS® consistently describe it as the elevated counterpart to "Old Glenmore" down in the valley. The ridge shares its general geography with Wilden's upper phases, though Glenmore Highlands itself refers more broadly to the elevated terrain than to any single master-planned community.
Homes along the ridge look out over the Glenmore Valley, and in many spots, Okanagan Lake beyond it — a genuinely different vantage point than the flatter, established streets below.
Because the Highlands developed later than the valley floor, lots here tend to run larger and homes newer — custom builds and higher-end properties are more common than in Old Glenmore's established core.
The ridge runs into Wilden's upper phases, so residents get easy access to Wilden's trail network and natural areas without necessarily being inside the master-planned community itself.
